Linda Gayle Butler Wuest of Geneva, AL passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Flowers Hospital. She was 71 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Crooms officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made in Linda’s memory to Geneva Festivals on the Rivers, P.O. Box 63, Geneva, AL 36340.
Linda was born in Houston County, AL to the late Virgil and Ester Forehand Butler. She enjoyed fishing, playing games on her computer, and going to the casinos. Linda’s family was her whole heart and she loved them each dearly. She especially enjoyed cooking for them and sharing the meal together as a family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wesley Coleman, and nine siblings.
Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ray Wuest of Geneva, AL; two daughters, Teresa Yarbrough (Ricky), and Michelle Griffin (Marty) all of Geneva, AL; four step sons, Tim Wuest, Tony Wuest, Ricky Wuest, and Randy Wuest all of Northern Kentucky; six grandchildren, Tawanna Perry (Johnny) of Geneva, AL, Justin Yarbrough (Bridget) of Bonifay, FL, Dalena Coleman, Dylan Coleman, Abbey Coleman all of Georgia, and Madison Griffin of Knoxville, TN; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Faye Meadows of Huntsville, AL.
Pallbearers will be, Justin Yarbrough, Dylan Coleman, Avery Perry, Brad Bynum, Clint Owens, and Travis Groce.
