Lisa Anne Pridgen Jones of Samson, AL passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was 58.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Assembly of God Church with Bro. Larry Mock officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Lisa was born in Geneva County, AL on March 09, 1966 to the late Hamp Filmore and Georgialene Thrower Pridgen. She was an outdoors loving individual who enjoyed fishing and working in the family business. For years, she was in charge of working the dragline and hauling countless loads of dirt all over the county. She could always be depended on to fill the orders for dirt hauling. Lisa was not scared of hard work. Her favorite time of the year was football season, where she loved to cheer on her beloved Auburn Tigers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Adams; and one brother, Tonny Pridgen.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Tim Jones of Gaskin, FL; son, Jody Filmore Pridgen (Megan) of Samson, AL; grandson, Logan Pridgen of Samson, AL; sister-in-law, Janine Pridgen of Enterprise, AL; two nieces, Kelsey Miller (Seth) of Enterprise, AL, and Tori McIntyre (Joseph) of Coffee Springs, AL; and a number of special great nephews.
