Lisa Hinson, 48, a resident of Dothan passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her home surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be held 5 pm Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Linda Cook officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the services.

Lisa was born April 28, 1965 in Houston County and lived most of her life in Dothan. She attended Dale County High School and was employed with Nates in Slocomb at the time of her recent illness. Lisa was a diehard Alabama Football fan and a member of the Roll Tide Roll Club. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Bowman; her parents, Floyd and Ola Stinson.

Survivors include her son Kenneth Ray (April) Boone,; her daughter, Alana Michelle (Justin) Rickerd; her grandchildren, Lily Boone, Koleson Boone, Bentley Rickerd and Rylee Kate Rickerd; four brothers, Douglas Wayne Farmer, Robert Earl (Penny) Farmer, Bennie Ray Stinson and Jerome (Lynn) Stinson; her sister, Julie (Tracy) Pippin; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Peggy McCannon.
