DOTHAN. . .Lisa Ann Singletary Pettigrew, a resident of Dothan, was called home to her Lord early Thursday morning, August 11, 2022. She was 55.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Teddy Ward and Ronnie Caraway officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary in Headland.
Lisa Pettigrew was born at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. She lived in various locations while her father served in the United States Air Force. Lisa moved to Dothan thirty years ago where she was a member of Pathway Baptist Church and was a graduate of Fortis College. She was formerly employed as a Certified Medical Assistant at Southern Sleep Clinic in Dothan. Lisa was an avid Alabama football fan and was not afraid to tell you. Lisa had an endless love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her days with her three dogs and her husband, Jim. Lisa was preceded in death by two daughters, Brandy Michelle Sullivan and Laura Thompson, and a son, James Anthony Pettigrew.
Surviving relatives include her husband, James Frederick “Jim” Pettigrew; two daughters, Lauren Hall (Aaron), Hartford; and Candy Roth (Jeff), Dothan; a son, Paul Bourasso (Miranda Skinner), Dothan; her parents, Larry and Neta Simmons Singletary, Dothan; sister, Melissa Mertes (Jason), Taylor, AL; brother, Steven Singletary, Plant City, FL; fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
