Lizzie Bell Mouring, 94, a resident of Webb, AL passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mouring was born October 9, 1920 in Headland and moved to Dothan at an early age and resided in this area most of her life. She was employed with Dothan Cigar for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Mouring resided in Taylor for over 60 years until moving to Webb in 2007. She loved to travel and was a member of Webb Methodist Church and the Taylor Community Center where she quilted and painted. She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Mouring; a grandson David Lashley; her parents, Charlie and Hattie Boyd; brothers, Charles Boyd, Rossell Boyd, Terrell Boyd, and Stancil Boyd; sisters, Alyne Mitchell and Lillian Garrett.

Survivors include her son Charles (Gladys) Lashley; her daughter Mary Joyce Pannone; 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Shelley (Shelby Jean) Boyd, and Billy (Geraldine) Boyd; a sister Betty (Dick) Dempsey; several nieces and nephews.
