Lloyd (Don) Hartford, of Coffee Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018.  He was 81.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial with full military honors will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Don was born April 6, 1936, in Glenville, Nebraska.  Following his retirement as a Sergeant First Class from the United States Army after 20 years of service, he worked as a Body Man at Ed Sherling Ford for many years.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mazie Herrington Hartford; his parents, Frank and Bessie Hartford; daughter, Kathy Currey; stepson, Ricky Mathis; three brothers; and one sister.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Hartford (Joe Gahn); brother, Carl Hartford; sister, Elsie Conover; seven grandchildren: Chase Agrella, Craig Agrella, Mary Wyatt Beasley, Daniel Wyatt, Kenny Wyatt, Will Mathis, and Zack Mathis; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
