Logan Drey Seay of Geneva went home to be with his heavenly Father on Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was 18.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Trinity Church with Pastors Gene Hauser and Allen Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at Trinity Church Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
Logan was born May 2, 1996, in Houston County, Alabama. He was a member of the 2016 graduating class of Geneva High School. He loved Alabama “Roll Tide” football and WWE Wrestling. Logan was full of life and to know him was to love him. He was a member of Trinity Church. Logan loved his church family and the youth group at Trinity had a very special place in his heart.
His grandfather, Robert Seay, Sr., and his aunt, Patricia Camper, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving and devoted mother, Sarah Seay; grandmother, Virginia Seay, both of Geneva; three uncles: Robert Seay, Jr., of Geneva, Royce (Shirley) of Astor, FL, and Toby (Jami) Seay of Geneva; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and a host of special friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Wright, Shay Daughtry, Robert Seay, Toby Seay, Logan Tutor and Zachary Thrower.
The 2016 graduating class of Geneva High School will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to say thank you to the doctors and nursing staff in the CICU at UAB for the love that was shown to them; a very special thank you to Dr. James Kirklin, Dr. Bennett F. Pearce and Dr. Robert Benak for the care and compassion that they extended to Logan over the past 18 years.
