Lois  Maxine Kirkland Crooms, a resident of Cottonwood, died Thursday April 19, 2012 at her residence. She was 61.


 


Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10 A. M. at Madrid City Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Hardin officiating, Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.


 


Mrs. Crooms was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Ressie Kirkland and one sister Margie Ann Kirkland.


 


Survivors include her husband; Curtis Crooms of Cottonwood, Five children; Curtis Crooms ,Jr and wife Becky of Headland; William Wayne Crooms of Cottonwood; Stacy Dunham and husband Eric of Dothan; Scott Crooms of Pansey and Lesley Flowers and husband Brian of Ashford. Twelve Grandchildren.


Brothers and sisters; Earnest Earl Kirkland of Madrid; Dorothy Bells and husband Lavon of Dothan; Roy Kirkland of Madrid; Ray Kirkland of Dothan; Glenda Nobles of Pansey; Janice Hollinshed and husband Clyde of Dothan; Eddie Joe Kirkland and wife Sue of Madrid and Vickie Jacobs and husband Jerome of Madrid.


Sister- in- Law Pearl Crooms and husband Dan Helbey and Brother- in-Law Jody Crooms and wife Audrey, Several Nieces and Nephews.
