Lonnie B. Scott, Jr., a resident of Enterprise, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, AL.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Scott officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Scott was born October 24, 1928 in Dublin, GA and lived the early part of his life there. He joined the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict as well as 23 tours in Vietnam. He retired in 1972 following 22 years of military service. He has been a resident of Enterprise since 1958. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lou Scott, his daughter, Patricia Ann Scott, and his son, John E. Scott.

Survivors include his sons, Lonnie B. (Heidi) Scott and Terry (Ana) Scott; his daughter, Jean (John) Walden; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers, Jimmy Scott and Ronald Scott; his sister, Martha Jo Scott.
