ABBEVILLE. . .Lonnie Walter Pair, a resident of Hardridge Creek on Lake Eufaula in Henry County, died early Monday morning, July 19, 2021, at his home. He was 63.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, July 22, 2021, in Lakeside Christian Fellowship with Reverend Mickey Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Thursday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, New York 10573.
Lonnie Pair was born at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, son of the late David Hollis Pair and Myra Joyce Patrick Pair. He was reared in various locations in the U. S. and overseas while his father served in the U. S. Air Force. He lived in Ariton before moving to Lake Eufaula in 1987. Lonnie was a member of the Lakeside Christian Fellowship. He was retired, due to disability, as a welder, from Alabama Electric in Dothan. Lonnie was preceded in death by his first wife, Angela Pair, and a nephew, Brandon James Pair.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Ann Jenks Pair; two daughters, Angela Pair, Eufaula; and Beth Price (Chris Cannon), Ventura, CA; three sons, Andy Pair, Dothan; L. José Pair (Sherry), Oklahoma; and Chris Price, St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Becky Williams (Jimmy), Abbeville; two brothers, Daniel Pair (Margaret), and David Pair (Heather), all of Abbeville; three grandchildren, Angeli Perez, Farrah Cannon and Lake Cannon; several nieces and nephews.
