Lori Ann Ellis, 70, a resident of Midland City, AL., passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at southeast Health. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Earl Patrick Lunger and Mary Melissa (Lynchey) Lunger.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Lori loved living and spending time with her family and friends. She was a servant and helping people was her goal in life. She retired from Westside Terrance. She adored her church at Bethlehem Baptist in Midland City with all her Sunday School class friends. She walked with Christ Jesus and had so many conversations, making sure her family knew her Jesus.

Lori hobbies included picking pecans so she could be outside in God’s creation and share her pecans with others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Tesluk.

Survivors include her husband, John Ellis, daughter, Carrie (Scott) Blankenship, Headland, AL., sister, Lynn Stivason (Don Slater), Prudenville, MI., grandchildren, Michael Hardwick, Tallahassee, FL., and Mary Hannah Hardwick, Florence, AL., nieces and nephews, Michelle (David) Guldner, Houghton Lake, MI., Wally Dubay, Clinton Twp, MI., Alan Dubay, Richmond, MI., and Jill (Wayne) Gerhardt, Clayton Twp, MI., several great nieces and nephews, special friends, Mike Stivason, Houghton Lake, MI., Rhonda Martin, Maryland, and Judy Blankenship, Columbia, AL., and many friends and wonderful neighbors.

Donations can be made in Lori’s memory to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 416 Bethlehem Rd, Midland City, AL 36350.
