Linda Hess, her devoted step-mother, also played a significant role in her life. Lori's warmth and generosity extended to her special friends, Tim and Kate Bishop, Judy and Tony Sevec, Joan Goss, and Jackie Capps, who became like family through years of shared laughter and support.

Professionally, Lori dedicated many years of service to the culinary world, bringing joy and comfort through food at Bishop's Home Style Cooking. Her tenure at Morrison's and Piccadilly further showcased her commitment to excellence and her ability to make any meal feel like a home-cooked feast. Lori's colleagues and patrons alike will remember her for her friendly demeanor and her ability to make everyone feel at home.

Lori's love for animals was boundless, as she embraced all creatures with open arms and an open heart. Her dependability was a cornerstone of her character, making her a trusted and valued friend, colleague, and confidante.
