Lou Emma Creech 79 of Elba, AL departed this life Thursday, May 2, 2024 at her residence in Elba, Alabama.    Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Elbert Smith officiating.  Committal services will follow in the Early Town Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Survivors include:
Daughter - Bridget Young (David Readinger), Elba, AL, Son - Mark (Tracie) Stokes, Elba, AL, Son - Derwin Stokes, Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Lakisha LeGear (Johnny Calloway) , Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Isabella Stokes, Ozark, AL, Granddaughter - Tiffany Stokes, Enterprise, AL, Grandson - Ashley (Kora) LeGear, Elba, AL, Grandson - Jeremy (Lashea) Stokes, Jacksonville, FL, Grandson - Derrick Stokes, Elba, AL, Grandson - Wesley Stokes, Opp, AL, Grandson - Eric Stokes, Geneva, AL, Grandson - Scotty Stokes, Samson, AL, Grandson - Brent Stokes, Elba, AL, Sister - Madeline Geffre, Lindsey, OK, Brother - Benny Joe (Frances) Rushing, Opp, AL; 32 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Parents: Frank and Nannie Mae Goss Rushing; Brother-Jerry Rushing; Sisters-Ernestine Legg & Violet Branch; Son-Gregory Stokes; Son-Jimmy Harold Stokes; Grandson-Daniel Gregory Stokes; and Great-Granddaughter-Jazlyn Hope Nevaeh LeGear.
