Mr. Louie Frank Griffin, 85 years old of Enterprise, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 12, 2016 at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.  Memorial donations may be made to New Home Baptist Church, 2734 County Road 617, Enterprise, AL 36330.


Following graduation from New Brockton High School, Mr. Griffin joined the U. S. Navy, stationed, in San Diego, CA.  He served four years of active duty and eight years in the Navy Seabees Reserves, obtaining the rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer.


Mr. Griffin was the owner of Southern Auto Parts in Montgomery, a retail and wholesale distribution company of Motorcraft automotive parts.


He was a devoted husband of 63 years, loving father and grandfather.  He was an active member of New Home Baptist Church.  He loved his family, friends, a good laugh, automobiles, gardening, country and southern gospel music.


Survivors include his wife, Sue Miller Griffin, Enterprise; two sons, David Keith Griffin (Katina) Robertsdale, AL; Ken Frank Griffin (Susan) Huntsville, AL; a daughter, Karyn Griffin Bowen (Gary) Birmingham, AL; grandson, Russell Lee Griffin, Birmingham; five great-grandchildren, Jackson Griffin, Birmingham; Zachary Brown; Ella Brown; Bryant Brown; Kailyn Brown, all of Seminole.
