Louise Green Smalley Tomlin “Grandma” was a loving mother grandma & great grandma. She went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday February 20, 2014.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday February 26, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Pastor Ruth Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Newt and Emily Green; her first husband Earl B. Smalley and was widowed by Charles E. Tomlin; and her siblings, Lynnie Blackwell, Robert, Blanch, George, Bill and Effie Green.

Survivors include a son, Arnold Smalley; daughters, LaVone Smalley, Wanda (William) Lingo Craig, Caroline (David) McDonald, Mary (Larry) Edge; grandchildren, Chris (Katie) Ard, Shannon Wells, Ashley Smalley, Tiffany (David) Dickerson, Dena (Blake) Norwood, Kimberly Summers, Stephanie Bowen, Lorissa Bowen, Emily Bowen, Michelle, Nikki, and Little Bit; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Karrigan, Dylan, Alyssa, Shyanne, MiKayla, EleKtra Rayne, September, Kirsten, Chasity, Alexis, Justin, Kane, Koldyn, Destinee, Jasmine, Logan, Addyson, and Baby JJ; special friends Mary (Larry) Wise and Karla Dykes; a special niece Wanda; siblings Clemmie, Neally, and Ralph.

Pallbearers are William Craig, Larry Edge, Durwood Ard, Blake Norwood, Zach Garland, and Don Ard.
