LTC Nicholas T. Thomas, USAR (Ret.) age 88, a resident of Trussville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at St Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 3, 2019 beginning at 3:00 PM with Father Paul Lunberg officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens cemetery in Elba, Alabama under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon, August 3, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his significant other, Cleo L. Hiner, Trussville, AL, Brother - Elias T. Thomas, and Sister-in-law - Connie Thomas of South Burlington, VT, Sister - Antonio "Toni" Baganakis and Brother-in-law Peter Baganakis of New Milford, NJ, along with three Nieces - Andrea, Paula, & Barbara, and several Great Nieces, & Nephews.
