LUCILLE PALMER BEATY
BAKER HILL. . .Lucille Palmer Beaty, a resident of Baker Hill, Alabama, died Friday, May 24, 2019, at her home. She was 81.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2019, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Nathan Poe and Reverend Hollis Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Abbeville.

Mrs. Beaty was born and reared in the Mt. Zion Community of northern Henry County. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School. Mrs. Beaty lived in Baker Hill all her adult lifetime where she was a member of the Christian Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from WestPoint Stevens as a Supervisor. Mrs. Beaty was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wade Beaty, her father, John F. Palmer, her mother, Mary Alice Adams Boyd, four sisters, Ruby Manry, Sarah Alice Stevens, Carolyn Powell and Jessie Mae Feller and a brother, James “Buddy” Palmer.
Surviving relatives include her brother, Franklin Palmer (Mary), Abbeville; a very special nephew and grandson who was dear to Lucille, Bobby and Justin Feller; nieces, Valerie Britt (Jim), Felicia Byrd (Mike), Jane Powell, Barbara, Linda, Gwen, Betty and Sherri; nephews, Thomas Powell (Kim), Jeffrey Powell (Mary), Rickey Palmer, Jimmy Palmer, Ladell Palmer and several other nieces and nephews from the Beaty family; a very special sister-in-law, Cricket Boyd.
