Lucille Watson Morgan went to be with our Lord Monday, May 4, 2015. She was 96.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Bastien officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until 2pm Saturday.

Mrs. Morgan moved to Dothan in 1946 with her husband H. O. (Herb) Morgan and her son H. O. (Sunny) Morgan, Jr. She was known as Lucy by the staff and customers of McDaniel & Associates, where she served as personal assistant to Mr. E. B. McDaniel and Office Manager for 38 years (1950-1988). She never missed a Sunday attending church in Headland Avenue Baptist and then Heritage Baptist. She studied her Bible daily. She enjoyed seeing Tom Hassele and other friends at the Dorothy Quick Senior Center.

Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her husband, Herb, her brothers, Frank Watson and John Watson, and by her sister, Ruth Avery Munger.

Survivors include her son, H. O. Sunny (Jennifer) Morgan; her grandson, Craig (Dana) Morgan; her granddaughter, Jessica Morgan Reeder; and her three great-grandchildren, Riley Morgan, Ty Morgan, and Luke Reeder.

Serving as active pallbearers Jim Oates, Sam Moore, Oneal Robertson, Ken Hall, Curtis Brannon, Danny Hayes, and Farris Helms. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Class at Heritage Baptist Church.
