Lurene D. Pipkins, 81, of Ozark, died unexpectedly, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015 at Rocky Head Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Weed and Rev. Joe Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Rocky Head with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6 on Sunday and at the church one hour prior to service time on Monday.

Mrs. Pipkins was born July 14, 1934 in Brundidge and lived the early years of her life in the Springfield Community. She enjoyed camping, Atlanta Braves baseball and Alabama football. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Rocky Head Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Lynn Andrews (Mike) of Ozark, Danny Pipkins (Martha) and Sammy Pipkins (CJ), all of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren, Krysten and Ashlee Andrews of Ozark, Wayne Stephens of Cleveland, OH, Matt Stephens (Bethany) of Washington, D.C., Alison Pipkins, Chelsea Windham (Josh), Cassidy Shefferd (Justin) and Caleb Pipkins, all of Pensacola; three great grandchildren, Kinsley and Kamden Windham and Levi Sheferd, all of Pensacola; two sisters, Sara Cain (Joe) and Linda Fain, all of Ariton.
