As a mother to Chuck Gray, Dane, and Tonya Broxton, she instilled in her children the values of kindness and strength. Her love extended effortlessly to her cherished grandchildren, Brittany Broxton (Holdon Barnes), Chelsie Joiner, and Taylor Gray, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Caylen Joiner, Karson Joiner, Aurora Roe, and Harlowe Barnes. Each of them was a source of immense pride and joy for Lydia, and she relished in celebrating every milestone and achievement alongside them.
Lydia's professional life was as vibrant and varied as she was. Her time as a truck driver, though brief, showcased her adventurous spirit and her ability to thrive in unexpected places. For nearly eight years, Lydia was a beloved fixture at Annie Pearls, where she served as a waitress.
