Lynette Wilson Goodson, 56, of Dothan passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2 pm Thursday.

Ms. Goodson was born December 12, 1956 in Houston County and resided in Dothan all her life. She was a 1975 graduate of Rehobeth High School and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Pete Wilson.

Survivors include her daughter Emma Laura (Derrick) Rice; her mother Lillian (Ken) Martin; two sisters, Melanie (Sammy) Cantrell and Brenda Kelley; three nephews, Keith Cantrell, Casey Taylor, and Johnathan Taylor; and one niece, Amber Taylor. Serving as active pallbearers will be Mark Woodham, Nick Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Keith Cantrell, Casey Taylor, Jared Goodson and Jonathan Taylor.
