If there was a piece of advice that Mr. M.C. Willis could give, he would say, “Don’t worry about nothing!” M.C. Willis was a living testament of living a stressfree, worry-free life. He was a sporty, classic gentleman who believed that first impressions were the best impressions. There will never be another M.C Willis. M.C. Willis, the son of the late Mr. Mallie Willis and Mrs. Willie Mae Willis (mother); Faire Willis (stepmother), was born March 1, 1932. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church when located in the Dothan area formerly known as Southside. He was actively attending and serving at New Bethel until his death. He was preceded in death by his daughter Catherine Willis Turner; sister, Madule Johnson; brothers, Johnny C. Willis, and Willie Frank Brown. M.C. Willis served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer until he was honorably discharged in 1946. He later became a truck driver in Dothan, AL. From 1967 until his retirement in 1995, he transformed his place of work in environmental services into a place of enjoyment as he walked the halls of Southeast Alabama Medical Center with his shiny shoes, starch-ironed attire, and a smile. After retirement, M.C. Willis continued to show off his work ethic and debonair spirit as an employee at The Dollar General. He loved reading his devotionals, attended church faithfully, and believed in being prepared and ontime. M.C. will be greatly missed. He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife, Charlene Willis, Dothan, AL; sons, Reginald (Kimberly) Hinson, West Palm Beach, FL, Michael Willis, Dothan, AL, John Kite, Dothan, AL, Samuel (Olympia) Oliver, Eufaula, AL; daughters, Michelle (Kelvin) Anderson, Gordan, AL, Cassandra Haspiel, Ozark, AL, Mary Kite, Dothan, AL, Victoria Oliver, Dothan, AL; devoted sister: Ann Williams, Belle Glade, FL; special nephew: K.J. Freeman; special friend: Willie “Sug” (Loretta) Carter; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and frie
