PENSACOLA, FLORIDA. . .Mable Burdeshaw Raley, a resident of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of Dothan and Headland, went to be with her beloved of 71 years, Ralph. Mable died peacefully at home late Friday night, November 2, 2018. She was 97.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 9, 2018, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Reverend Misty Barrett officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 A.M. Friday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to a favorite charity.
Mrs. Raley was born and reared in Kinsey, daughter of the late John Webb Burdeshaw and Clara Bell Jones Burdeshaw. She formerly lived in Columbus, GA, Headland and Dothan before moving to Pensacola in 2007. Mrs. Raley was a member of the Denton Road United Methodist Church. She was retired from F. W. Woolworth as Personnel Supervisor. Mrs. Raley was preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Raley, four sisters, Willie Mae Hatcher, Jewell Blackshear, Ruth Hatcher and Annie Pearl Kelly and two brothers, Robert Burdeshaw and J. D. Burdeshaw.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Millard Raley (Brenda), Pensacola; and William Harold Raley (Mary), Acworth, GA; four grandchildren, Daren Raley (Jennifer), Kevin Raley (Kristi), Bonnie Raley (Drew), and Scott Raley (Jessica); eight great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
