Mae Lizie Beacham of Headland passed away at her home on September 10, 2019. She was 86 years old.


Funeral service will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm with visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel.


Mae was born on April 21, 1933 to the late Willie and Rubie Stewart. She grew up in Midland City and later moved to Ohio with her husband, John. She then moved back to Alabama to help take care of her mother. Mae enjoyed being with her Jehovah Witness processors and watching the Game Show Network. She will be dearly missed by her family and her friends.


Ms. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Rubie Stewart; her husband, John D. Beacham; her son Ricky R. Beacham; and her two siblings, Johnny B. Stewart and Willie Pearl Carroll.


She is survived by her four daughters, Martha Nicholson of Alpharetta, GA, Mary J. Sims of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Ruby J. Jackson of Headland, AL, Johnnie Mae Beacham of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two sons, Willie D. (Annetta) Beacham of Marianna, FL and John E. (Christina) Cole-Beacham of Crestview, FL; sister-in-law, Ann Stewart of Midland City, AL; Eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
