Margaret Maria Beukenkamp, 98, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Born September 25, 1919 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Christoffel Smit and Wilhelmina Bieler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lourens J. Beukenkamp.

Survivors include her two sons, Boudewyn (Dutch) Beukenkamp and wife, Susan of Deltaville, Virginia, and Roderik Beukenkamp and wife, Linda of Hendersonville, TN; three grandchildren, Christopher Beukenkamp (wife, Rebecca Coke), Lisa Rhodes (husband, Ben Rhodes), and Nicole Beukenkamp; three great-grandchildren, Gioia, Samuel and Lula Beukenkamp.

Memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Joseph L. Johnson at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 7th at Evergreen Presbyterian Church, 1103 North Pontiac Ave, Dothan AL. Visitation at Evergreen Presbyterian Church will begin at 9:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery, Garden of Hope, 2414 Hartford Highway, Dothan, AL.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that a “Tribute Memorial Donation” be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org, or to Evergreen Presbyterian Church.
