Margaret Tabitha Tucker Yocis, passed away on July 15, 2021 in Pennsylvania.

Margaret was born on November 27, 1952 in Fort Benning, Georgia to the late Clarence Alvis and Annie Tucker. During her childhood, She and her family would live and travel to several places while their father was in the military. She would later move to Newton, AL where she would reside for several years. She loved the Lord and had a servant’s heart. Margaret was very creative and would make embroidered pieces for her family and friends. She also enjoyed creating birdhouses and other wood pieces with her husband, John. Most of all, Margaret loved and adored her family. She was a longtime and dedicated caregiver for her mother and her husband. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.


She is preceded by her parents, Clarence Alvis and Annie Tucker; her loving husband, John David Yocis, Sr.; and her sister, Callie T. Watson.


Margaret is survived by her three children, Clarence Ray Yocis, David Michael Yocis, and John David Yocis Jr.; her eight grandchildren; her two sisters, Alva (Anthony) Zawistowski and Arzenna (Billy) Watson; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and her devoted hospice nurse, Kelly Cox.
