Margie Tindol Jones of Westville, FL passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Steven Connell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

 Margie was born in Ponce de Leon, FL on February 27, 1941, to the late Carthell David and Leonia Peak Tindol. Margie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She was also an avid gardener and loved working in her flower beds. Margie was a true caregiver by nature who’s calling in life was taking care of and looking after others in need. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Ray Jones; four brothers, Richard Tindol, James Tindol, Junior Tindol, and Riley Tindol; four sisters, Joyce Tindol, Eva Nell Hawthorne, Lynda Cooey, and Inez Hicks.

 She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jackie Ray Jones of Westville, FL; one daughter, Lisa Jones Mathews (Stan) of Westville, FL; one son, Samuel David Jones (Stephanie) of Enterprise, AL; four grandsons, Nathan Jones of Geneva, AL, Colby Mathews of Dallas, TX, Peyton Mathews of Westville, FL, and Ryan Jones (Mackenzie) of Freeport, FL; one granddaughter, Haley Jones of Enterprise, AL; two great grandsons, Corey Jones and Gavin Jones; two sisters, Mabel Baker of Westville, FL and Versie Motley of Tampa, FL; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved very much.
