Mrs. Marian Kay Thompson Wynn of Geneva passed away Monday, July 22, 2024. She was 64.

 The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for a time of visitation and fellowship. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Marian’s memory.

 Marian was born on May 08, 1960 in Dothan, AL to Max and Sharon Huntley Thompson. She was a graduate of Dothan High School and later obtained her associate degree from LBW-Dothan. At the time of her passing, Marian was employed with the Emma Knox Keenan Library in Geneva, AL where she served as Director of Library Services. She dearly cherished her job as librarian, where she was able to assist the needs of those who enjoyed reading and seeking valuable information, as much as she did. In addition to her love of books and reading, she was an avid animal lover.

 She was preceded in death by one brother, David Roy Thompson.

 Marian is survived by her husband, Douglas S. Wynn; one daughter, Melissa Sharon Wynn, both of Geneva, AL; stepdaughters, Jessica Leigh Wynn and Andrea Catherine Wynn; her parents, Max and Sharon Thompson of Dothan, AL and many friends who will dearly miss her.
