Marianne Vincent Stone, 88, of Ft. Gaines, Ga. passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at her residence. Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, November, 9, 2017 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM in the Ft. Gaines Presbyterian Church.

 Mrs. Stone was born on September, 24, 1929 in Cartersville, Ga. the daughter of the late David and Camille Campbell Vincent. She was retired as a public school media specialist, a member of the Ft. Gaines Presbyterian Church, attended GSCW at Milledgeville and a graduate of the University of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son; David A. Stone and a grandson; William Vincent Stone.

 Survivors include her husband; Dr. Albert H. Stone of Ft. Gaines, a daughter; Holley Shuford of Eufaula, a son; Jim Stone of Ft. Gaines, a daughter-in-law; Leslie Stone (wife of David Stone) of Hartwell, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

 Memorials may be made to the ALS Association of Ga. at 5881 Glen Ridge Dr. # 200 Atlanta, Ga. 30328 or the Clay County Library.
