ABBEVILLE. . .Marilyn Cox Hall, a former resident of Abbeville, died early Monday morning, January 22, 2018, in Crowne Healthcare in Eufaula. She was 73.
Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East with eulogies to be given by family members. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hall was born and reared in Miami, Florida, daughter of the late Harold Enos Cox, Sr. and Ollie Bell Davis Cox. She lived in Key Largo, Florida before moving to Abbeville where she lived most of her adult lifetime. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Alton Hall, Sr., two sisters, Margie Buchin and Mary Jane Scott and two brothers, Harold Enos Cox, Jr. and David Cox.
Surviving relatives include four daughters, Terri Weech, Florida; Dana Severson (Larry), Dothan; Brenda Hall, Dothan; and Debra Brooks (James), Huntsville, AL; two sons, Robert Weech (Cathy), Florida; and Danny Hall (Angela), Abbeville; a sister, Cathy Chambers, Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Madison, Kennedy, Daniel, Jaycee, Molly, Landri, James and Zayne.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Crowne Healthcare and Kindred Hospice for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Hall during her illness.
