Ms. Marilyn Louise Foraker passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at her residence. She was 82. She was born to Roscoe and Molly Mae Antle Foraker in Chillicothe, IL October 1, 1931.

Ms. Foraker was a member of the Kingdom Hall West Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved coloring and drawing pictures of nature to give to others. She enjoyed making crafts, dancing, eating, cooking and having sing-a-long parties with many friends and family. She took care of pets, and she loved to compliment everyone even strangers. She had a happy disposition, loved children, the Bible and truth of a life in Paradise. For many years she attended Kingdom Halls in Illinois, Florida and finally in Dothan, AL. Many will have fond memories of Aunt Mary and her out-going personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Carl Foraker, Don Foraker, Orville Foraker, sisters, Viola Ham, Violet Crenshaw, Daisy Seay, Freda Siglar and Ethel Jones.

Survivors include her brother, Robert Foraker who is the last remaining member of a large family of 10 children, niece, Kathryn M. Milhon, and many friends, family and great-nieces and nephews.

Many agencies were a joy to Aunt Many (as she loved to be called), particularly Vivien B. Adams in Ozark. The teachers, a special thanks to Renee Fuller case manager, the aides, the bus driver and many friends were also constant encouragement. Gentiva Hospice gave added words of encouragement to Aunt Mary and all family members they came in contact with. We will be forever thankful for their kind and gentle care. And a special thanks to Taola Bass her doctor and her nurse Denita and the staff at internal medicine of Dothan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the West Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses on Brannon Stand Road, with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
