Marjorie O. Casey, 82, a resident of Dothan passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Signature Healthcare in Graceville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Parks Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in North Highland Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing.

Marjorie Olivia Ford Casey was born to Garfield Ford and Millie Olivia Bean Ford in Dothan, Alabama on October 16, 1933. She was raised in Dothan and graduated from Carver High School. She was baptized at Cherry Street A.M.E. Church as an infant and confessed Christ at an early age at Parks Chapel A.M.E. Church. She remained in touch until her passing. She passed away on April 21st at Signature Health Care in Graceville, Florida.

She leaves to cherish her loving family and friends; one son, Ronald Lewis of Birmingham, AL; a sister, Jane Oliver Lyles of Gary, IN; a brother, John Henry Ford of Bronx, NY; a sister in law, Patricia Ford; cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to also thank the staff of Signature Healthcare and a special thanks to Robert and Iola McCloud.
