Mark Stafford Bryan of Hurricane Creek Road, Westville, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, with his loving family at his side.  He was 43.


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Rodd Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 3, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m.


Mark was born December 24, 1971, in Enterprise, Alabama.  His school years at Ponce de Leon, from K through 12, were very special.  He made many lifelong, impressionable friendships that helped to make him the special person he was.  He received an AA Degree from Chipola Jr. College in Marianna, FL and in 1994 received his BA Degree from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL.  Mark’s first major was History, but he became certified in many different areas.  He was currently employed with the Holmes County Board of Education, most recently teaching at Bethlehem High School where he taught Special Education.  He was a very loving son, brother, husband and father and will be greatly missed by every life that he has touched.  Leonia Baptist Church was blessed to have him as a member for several years.


He was preceded in death by grandparents, Milford and Ann Stafford, M.J. and Lovie Bryan, his father, Willie Bryan, step father, Carie Coursey, brother-in-law, Aaron Kinman and a special friend, Shane Conner.


Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Carla Kinman Bryan; three children: Colby Stafford Bryan, Makayla Renee Bryan and Auston Stafford Bryan; his mother, Betty Stafford Coursey, all of Westville, FL; one brother, Chad A. Bryan of Atlanta, GA; father and mother-in-law: Harold and Teresa Kinman of Hartford, AL; two sisters-in-law: Karen LaMont of Hartford, AL and Kristin (Blake) Martin of Chipley, FL; nieces and nephews: Rodney and Sabrina LaMont of Hartford, AL, and Lauren Kinman of Chipley, FL; very special friends: Derrick (Kayla) Miller of Geneva, AL, Sherri Galloway (Don) Campbell of Pensacola, FL, Todd (Karen) Hornsby of Jacksonville, FL; and also his 1990 graduating class of Ponce de Leon High School; other extended family and a host of friends.


Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Powell, Jack Jones, Myron Hudson, Jerry Dixon, Donald Dady and Jerry Stafford.
