Martha, better known by her close friends as "Sissy" born in Houston County, Dothan, Alabama on June 24, 1945. Her stay with us however brief, she was loved and cherished by all who knew her personally.
Sissy will be most remembered for her loving and tender heart she poured out to everyone who ever knew her or crossed her path. She was a very easy going person never really wanting much for herself but always giving more of herself, to see that her family and others were well taken care of to the best of her abilities. As a family we did not have much but we were blessed with an abundance of love. If you ever knew her you would understand Sissy was a good ole country girl always seen in her most easy going everyday way wearing a white T-shirt, grey shorts and barefoot around the home.
Our Mama was the best, we could never begin to express the warmth and love she extend us all. She will be truly missed. We thank God for his merciless blessings and for not letting our mother suffer to long from her battle with cancer. As she ascends to heaven for reunion with our dearly departed and missed; Nanny, Grace Monet and our loving sister Edise, we know God is taking her to greater heights to continue her everlasting eternal bliss. No more pain Mama, we love you. You will be forever missed, but continuously loved until God’s merciful grace reunites us all.
