MARTHA ELIZABETH CLARK
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Windsor Clark, 84, will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 3 P.M. at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Windsor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Webb Cemetery in Webb, AL. Mrs. Clark passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Gadsden Health and Rehab.
She is survived by her son, Ron Clark and his wife Janet of Glencoe; three grandchildren, Robin Clark Mullins, Amy Clark Snow and her husband Matt of Birmingham and Will Clark of Jacksonville, FL; numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Eudell Coburn of IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Will Clark, Matt Snow, Ross Weyland, Randy Windsor, Tom Roberts and Rodney Parramore.
Mrs. Clark was born in Houston County, AL on September 7, 1929 to Joe and Claudia Knowles Windsor. She lived in Columbus, GA for 30 years, where she raised her two sons and was an active member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark then returned to Dothan, AL where she resided for 30 years and was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. In later years she was a resident of Glenco, AL. Mrs. Clark was a loving mother and grandmother to her sons and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Claudia Windsor; her son, Michael “Mike” Clark; seven brothers, Clarence, Benton, Howard, Radford, Dewey, Ray and Gerald Windsor; and four sisters, Stella Kirkland, Agnes Walker, Lois Key and Dorothy Lane Kirkland.
The family would like to express their thanks to the 3rde floor staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, the staff of Gadsden Health and Rehab, Dr. Reiland, Dr. Fernandez, Dr. Castillo and Gentiva and Lawley Hospices, for their loving care.
