Martha Elizabeth Griffin Peavy age 91, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at Rich Square Health Care in Rich Square, NC.

 

Mrs. Peavy was born February 17, 1925 in New Brockton, Alabama, the daughter of the late Grover Griffin and Nina Jo Perkins Griffin.  She was also pre-deceased by her husband, David Lloyd Trawick and a son, David Trawick.

           

She is survived by her son, Christopher Trawick and his wife Edna; her brother, Lamar Griffin; two grandchildren, Allen and Chad Trawick; two step grandchildren, Ollie Jernigan and Eddie Dorsey, five great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

           

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2:00 PM at New Brockton Cemetery in New Brockton, Alabama.
