DOTHAN. . .Martha Faye Bostick Trammell, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday morning, October 9, 2021, at her home. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Smyrna Baptist Church, 1800 Huskey Road, Dothan, AL 36303 or to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL. 36111.
Mrs. Trammell was born and reared in the Tolbert Community of Henry County, daughter of the late James Emanuel Bostick and Flossie Roney Bostick. She lived most of her adult lifetime in Dothan. Mrs. Trammell was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church. She was retired as Manager of the South Alice Dairy Queen and the Ross Clark Circle Dairy Queen. Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Thomas “Tommy” Trammell, two sisters, Janice Trammell and Dovie Ethridge and four brothers, Robert Bostick, Edward Bostick, James Bostick and Ted Bostick.
Surviving relatives including two daughters, Glenda Sharp (Ed), Dothan; and Diane Hudspeth (Greg), Headland; a son, DeWayne Trammell (Mary), Mooresville, NC; seven grandchildren, Ashley Andrews (Ryan), Jennifer Barboza (Jaime), Justin Feller, Corey Hudspeth (Shelby), Thomas Hudspeth, Branson Andrews (Tina), and Angie Brubaker (Mike); numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren on the way.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Justin Hudspeth, Thomas Hudspeth, Corey Hudspeth, Jaime Barboza, Ryan Andrews and Tony Trammell.
