Martha Peacock, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, April 30, 2012. She was 71.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Flowers will be accepted. At other times, the family will be gathered at 419 Hickory Ct. Webb, AL.
Mrs. Peacock worked for 46 years at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center as a loving and dedicated nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Willie Mae Tice, a grandson, Sidney Aaron Dyson, brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Geraldine Tice, brother-in-law, Bob Comerford, and two very special nieces.
Survivors include one daughter, Tammie Rhodes and her husband, Sam of Ozark; two sons, Paul Jones and his wife, Pat of Webb; Mark Peacock and his wife, Dana of Hillsboro, Ohio; one grandson, Jerrod Dustin Rhodes of Ozark; one granddaughter, Victoria Peacock Rhodes of Hillsboro, Ohio; one sister, Shirley Comford of Sneads, FL; one brother, Richard Tice and his wife, Jeanette of Cottonwood; two very special great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
