Martha Sue Carswell of Samson, AL passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her home. She was 63 years old.

A remembrance service will be held at the graveside at Travelers Rest Cemetery in Samson, Alabama.

Martha was born in Geneva County, AL on August 23, 1957 to the late Billie William and Vera Bell Sasser Baine. Martha was a very caring person who loved her family dearly. She was a fighter, and she fought her illness to the very end.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Royce Baine.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Billy R. Carswell of Samson, AL; one daughter, Holly Tinajero; one son, Brett Carswell; and one grandson, Jerod McCollough.
