Ms. Mary (Fears) Henderson, 86, resident of Dothan went to be with her Lord and serve in his flower garden on Sunday afternoon, November 24, 2024 at Extendicare Health & Rehabilitation Center.

 Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Howard Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 12:15 PM until 12:45 PM Wednesday in the chapel prior to services. Flowers will be accepted.

 Ms. Mary Henderson was born on December 28, 1937 to Jessie Lee Fears and Inez Bodiford Fears in Houston County, Alabama. She attended Cottonwood High School. Ms. Mary worked for Charles Manufacturing in Dothan as well as the sewing factory in Cottonwood before she became a full-time homemaker to her husband and three sons. She was a member of Bethlehem Assembly of God in Grangerburg, and she visited and attended many other churches. Ms. Mary loved the Lord, her family, and flowers.

 Ms. Mary Henderson is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Earl Henderson and sister, Martha Fears.

 Survivors are her three sons, James Henderson (Regina), Rodney Henderson (Lisa), both of Dothan, and Kem Henderson (Cynthia) of Pansey; three grandchildren, Matthew Henderson (Brittony), Lacy Mooneyham (Kevin), Justin Henderson (Jessica); four step-granddaughters, Christina Smith (C.J.), Brittany Granger, Neely Kyle (Luke), Shannon Haney; five great grandchildren, Wade Henderson, Easton Henderson, Zachary Henderson, Elaina Henderson, Hunter Mooneyham; six step-great grandchildren, Karson, Aiden, Ansleigh, Cooper, Caydee, and Claire; several nieces and nephews.

 Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Lewis, Eddie Heinrich, Kevin Brackin, Clay Sellers, and Jonathan Money. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Brett Conrad.
