In the early morning hours of October 30, 2020, Sister Mary Ashberry of Geneva, Alabama went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

 

Graveside services were held Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Piney Grove Assembly of God cemetery with Bro. Jesse Hobbs officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.

 

Mary was born in Opp, Alabama to the late George Dewey and Gladys Powell Burgess.  She lived a devoted Christian life and attended services at Victory Tabernacle of Hartford, Al.  She was loved by many and will be missed by them all.

 

Preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter: JoHanah Coskrey.

 

Survived by her husband: Edward Ashberry; one daughter: Tracy Coskrey; one son: David “Tim” (Andrea) Coskrey; four grandchildren: Mason and Karlee Coskrey, Lindsey Harrell and  Nick (Cody) Harrell,; one great granddaughter; Jordyn Harrell, two sisters, Martha (James) Dean and Betty Jones; two brothers; Lamar Burgess and Tommie (Martha) Burgess and many nieces and nephews.
