Mary B. McCrummen of Samson passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. She was 73. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Clifton McWhorter officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.


Mrs. McCrummen was born in Coffee County, AL on January 25, 1946, to the late Ed Bryant and Frances Sutley Bryant. She loved her family, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. McCrummen; and a brother, Billy Bryant.


She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Limppo (Robby) of Samson, and Ellen Doran of Enterprise; two sons, Mickey McCrummen (Janet) of Enterprise and Scottie McCrummen (Evelyn) of Samson; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five sisters, Jeanette Daugherty (Joe) of Elba, Lela Parker (Jerry), Sue Cauley (Roland), all of Elba, and Linda Ball (Danny) of Kansas; six brothers, Billy Ray Bryant of Enterprise, Willie Jay Bryant (Tracy) of Skipperville, Donald Bryant of Elba, Phillip Bryant (Sharon) of Pensacola, FL, James Bryant (Jean) of Cottonwood, and Ralph Bryant (Wanda) of Opp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
