Mrs. Mary Lou Johnson Beagles of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the family residence. She was 80 years old.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Geneva City Cemetery with Rev. Jerry McAdams officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 4, 2019 beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Beagles was born on April 6, 1938 in Holmes County, FL to the late William La Fayette and Lillie Bell Tadlock Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Beagles; brothers, Wilmer, Clyde, Neal, Jack and Travis Johnson; sisters, Pauline Cordle, Annie Merle Wood, Nettie Ruth Pittman, Juanita Arrington, Vernell Galloway  and  Grace Pridgen.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Beagles Alford (Clevie) of Geneva, Al; two grandchildren, Nicholas Alford and Zachary Alford both of Geneva, Al; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Johnson of DeFuniak Springs, FL, and Paulette Johnson of Ponce de Leon, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
