Obituary: Mary Frances Holland
Mary Frances Holland of Dothan passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at SAMC. She was 76.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb with Rev. Brenda Yon and Rev. Don Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Burns Assembly of God Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mary was born August 14, 1938 in Geneva County to the late J. C. Hughes and Ruby Lee Robinson. She was a member of Rocky Branch Congregational Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, daughter, Frances Diane Holland; great granddaughter, Saige Makenzie Holland; sisters: Voncile James, Myrtice Smith and Katherine Hooper; brothers: Jack and J.B. Hughes preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children: Lisa Holland, Dothan and Ken Holland (Carol), Slocomb; grandchildren: Stephen Holland, Dothan, Brandy McCall (Maxx), Colorado Springs, CO, Jeremy Bruner (Tisha), Dothan and Derek Bruner (Diane), Webb; granddaughter-in-law, Samaria Holland, Dothan; great grandchildren: Elijah, Noah, Christian, Jakob, Hannah, Sara, Eli and Aiden; sisters: Carolyn Fowler (Rodney), Cottonwood and Evelyn Robinson, Orlando, FL; brother, Johnny Mack Hughes (Martha), Slocomb; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Holland, Bro. Larry Yon, Jonathan Broyles, Paul Henderson, Rodney Fowler and Johnny Mack Hughes.
