Mary Frances Short Pilcher
“Frances”
Mary Frances Short Pilcher, born April 4th, 1923 to parents Claudia and John Short, passed peacefully into heaven at the home of her son David and daughter in love, Elizabeth “Shyne” Pilcher while they were lovingly by her side in Jacksonville, Florida.
“Yesterday around 9 AM God reached down and healed my Mom. Yesterday God gently took my Mom’s hand and helped her through the door into His house. Yesterday the hands of time were turned back to when she was in her mid-30s. Yesterday…my Mom and Dad were reunited again. Yesterday was a glorious day for Mom. God Bless” – David
On March 2nd, 2016 God set back the hands of time. Frances and her loving husband of many years, Mercer “Mutt” Pilcher, along with their loving fur baby “Petite” are now walking together eternally in God’s most wondrous gardens.
Mary Frances Short Pilcher is survived by one son, David Mercer Pilcher and daughter in love, Elizabeth “Shyne” Pilcher; one granddaughter, Savana A. Parker and husband, Daniel J. Parker; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Benjiman Parker; one sister, Margaret Woodham; one brother, Walter Short and wife, Nancy; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
