 Mary Jewel Odom age 85 of Elba, Alabama departed this life Sunday, September 22, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Derek Snellgrove. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. 

     Jewel will be remembered for her delicious cooking, and the fellowship afforded her customers. She successfully owned and operated Juliett’s restaurant for many years where locals not only gathered to enjoyed a square meal, but to visit and catch up on the latest happenings. She will be missed by all who knew her. 
     She leaves behind her husband, - JW Odom, Elba, AL, Granddaughter - Jennifer Henderson, Opp, AL, Brother - Thomas D. Chambless, Elba, AL, Sister - Janice Robichaux, L’Auberge, LA, and Sister - Carolyn Baxter of Shreveport, LA.
     
 Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Odom family.
