She is also survived by her dear brother, William Tipton; and special family members, Stevie Battles, Crystal Kelly (Allen) and their children, Brent Kelly and Zander Kelly, who, along with the rest of the family, will miss her deeply.

Mary’s life was rich with interests and activities that reflected her vibrant spirit. She was a regular with the Beauty Shop Girls on their weekly outings, where laughter and camaraderie were in abundant supply. Dancing was one of Mary’s passions, and she could often be found twirling and stepping with grace at local events. An avid fisherwoman, she cherished the peace and excitement that came with the sport. Mary’s commitment to her community was evident through her active participation in the Senior Center and her church family, where she was known as a good Christian woman and a fervent prayer warrior.

Family was the cornerstone of Mary’s world. She loved her family unconditionally and took great pleasure in spoiling her great-grandchildren. Her skills in the kitchen were legendary, with her baking and cooking bringing comfort and delight to family gatherings. Christmas was Mary’s favorite holiday, a time when her generosity and love shone brightest. An enthusiastic Alabama Football fan, Mary never missed a chance to cheer on the Crimson Tide, often accompanied by her favorite snack of boiled peanuts.

Mary’s legacy is one of love and selflessness. Her spirited nature and unwavering support for those she cared about were her defining traits. She lived her life with a generosity of spirit that touched everyone she met. Mary’s influence will be felt for generations to come, as she instilled in her family the values of kindness, compassion, and faith.
