Survivors include her daughter, Norma Jean Cavacini (Enzo); sisters, Mavis Lolley and Mazie Newsom; grandchildren, Jody Cavacini (Cheryl) and Deanna Cavacini Salvitti (Brian); five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Adkins found much enjoyment in her sewing.  She made many quilts including baby quilts for all her nieces and nephews.  She loved all children, and she babysat for many years, her family becoming close with the families of those she cared for.  Mrs. Adkins loved everyone and always had a smile on her precious face, and she was loved by all.  She was a wonderful mother, and her family will be lost without her.  She will be their Angel now.
