Mary S. Dismukes, 85, of Dothan passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Henry County Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Holt officiating.

Mrs. Dismukes was born March 6, 1927 in Houston County, AL and lived in this area most of her life. She was employed with Flowers Hospital for 15 years as a respiratory therapist. Mrs. Dismukes was a member of Berean Baptist Church. She was preceded in death in November 2011 by her husband of 67 years Davis Lee Dismukes.

Survivors include a son Larry Dismukes of Dothan; daughters, Sonja McKnight of Montgomery, AL, Jane Scruggs of Dothan, and Amy Townsend of Sugarland, TX; 2 sisters, Jean Cureton, Headland, Alabama, Helen Wright, Geneva, Alabama; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.
