MARY SUE BRANNON

KINSEY… Mary Sue Brannon, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama passed away Tuesday morning, August 6, 2024, at her home. She was 86.

          Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Reverend Sam White officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

          Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Mrs. Brannon’s honor to the Kinsey Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., c/o Donna Trippe, Treasurer, 948 J W Rich Road, Kinsey, Alabama 36303.

          Mrs. Brannon was born in Newville, Alabama to the late William Leonard Taylor and Evie Lou Mathis Taylor. She was a 1956 graduate of Headland High School. She also received a business degree from Riley Business College. She had previously worked with Shealy Insurance Company and Headland National Bank. She had lived in various places in Mississippi before moving back to Headland, Alabama fifty years ago. She had lived in Kinsey, Alabama for the last 14 years. She was a member of the Kinsey Baptist Church.

          Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, Billy Wayne Brannon; her son, Michael Wayne Brannon (Angela); her grandson, Christopher Chad Brannon (Stephanie); her great-granddaughters, Julianne Richman and JoHanna Brannon; and her great-grandson, Judson Brannon.
